Congressman Edward Markey (D-MA) has introduced the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2009 (H.R. 3101). This bill, if enacted
into law, would update disability access provisions of the Communications Act to address the barriers the rapid development of technology presents to children
and adults who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened, blind or have low vision. You can learn more about this bill, and what the next steps on its journey
through Congress will be, at the web site of the Coalition of Organizations for Accessible Technology <
